🛑 Ceasefire Agreement and Military Operations

Following a recent military confrontation triggered by a terrorist attack in Indian Kashmir, which resulted in the deaths of 26 Hindu tourists, India blamed Pakistan-backed militants and responded with airstrikes on alleged terrorist camps.

Pakistan denied involvement, asserting the Indian strikes hit civilian areas and called for a neutral investigation.

Despite the truce, Modi emphasized that peace would depend on Pakistan’s stance and restated India's firm position that terrorism and dialogue cannot coexist.
